Raised in Kaneohe, Dr. Chang returned home after years of advanced training and teaching. He founded Eye Doctors Hawaii with a focus on careful diagnosis, clear explanations, and shared decisions.
- A Foundation In MedicineDr. Chang attended the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Hawaii medical school, then completed ophthalmology residency training at Loma Linda University.
- Specialized TrainingHe completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Harvard and spent seven years on the Harvard Medical School faculty, teaching microsurgery techniques.
- A Broader PerspectiveHis education also includes a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins and an MBA from the Wharton School. He brings that broad perspective to patient care.
